Elaine Sperry knows too many friends who have had to make the impossibly difficult tradeoffs of choosing among eating, buying medication or paying bills. Ohio ranks first in the Midwest and 12th nationwide for food insecurity among older adults, according to a new report by the National Foundation to End Senior Hunger and National Association of States United for Aging and Disabilities.
